When most of think about our health we think of exercise. It’s kind of intuitive and incredibly accurate. Exercise does in fact add years to our lives, it keeps us healthy, fit, looking and feeling great. We all know this, so what more can I tell you?
Well, not all exercises are made equal, for some of us we turn to weights, others to cardio. Whatever you chose, it should relate to your personal goal. So what then if your goal is to maintain your youth? It turns out that any small movement might help, exercising at the intense level may not be required, as discussed in this post from News Max:
According to Dr. Levine and other experts in the new field of “inactivity physiology,” sitting in and of itself not only makes you fat, it is hazardous to your health. No amount of exercising, he says, can make up for too much time sitting on your duff.
But small movements can help. Something as simple as ditching the electric tooth brush and brushing your teeth by hand can make a big difference in how much energy your body uses and how much weight you lose, when combined with other small changes throughout the day.
